Meet the Team

From a young age, Dr. John Pastorek knew he wanted to be a dentist. He is and always has been passionate about people. Growing relationships with his patients and helping them build confidence is his favorite part of the job. That’s why he’s created a curated dental experience that people enjoy and leave feeling like their best selves.

Dr. P is an ambassador and part of the dental team for Brace for Impact 46, a non-profit organization in St. Louis and Haiti providing help and dental care for underserved children and families. Building genuine long-term relationships, he has gone to Haiti many times to continue helping people thrive by providing necessary dental care.

Pursuing excellence, he is an active member of the Spear Study Club and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also currently working towards earning his AGD Fellowship. Continuously improving and perfecting his craft, he has made it a priority to pursue high level continuing education.

Born and raised in Chesterfield, MO, Dr. P fell in love with and married his dream girl, Tara. They have a lovely daughter, Logan, and a dog, Winston, who you might see around the office. He has always enjoyed being active and is still active in both ice hockey and lacrosse. He played lacrosse at the University of Dayton and picked up ice hockey as an adult. Not only does he love to play, he also loves to coach. He’s coached lacrosse at both the high school and collegiate levels for 9 years and has been part of 5x State Championship teams at MICDS.

He attended Chaminade College Preparatory School and went on to graduate from the University of Dayton with his bachelor’s degree in pre-dental studies and minor in psychology.

Continuing his education, he received his MBA (Masters of Business Administration) from Missouri Baptist University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Arizona.

In Dayton, OH, he completed his General Practice Residency at Miami Valley Hospital. He also graduated from the prestigious Kois Center – a highly regarded continuing education program focused on advancing dentistry through science.
